Welcome to the world's first collaborative international crime fiction map
We love crime and thriller fiction at Bitter Lemon Press. And with our titles you can visit a number of exotic locations around the world. Pick up Zygmunt Miłoszewski's 'Entanglement' and you'll be transported to gritty Warsaw. Switch to any Leonardo Padura title and you'll be introduced to the seedy side of Cuba's capital, Havana. Fancy getting to grips with the real Bari? Then say hello to Gianrico Carofiglio's anti-mafia lawyer Guido Guerrieri.
We've decided to map the locations of the Bitter Lemon Press list using Google Maps. It's now easier than ever to see where a Bitter Lemon book is set, what it is about and what praise it has received.
But because we're big fans of crime and thriller fiction, we've included some of our favourite non-Bitter Lemon titles. And now we want YOUR suggestions for the map.
If you would like us to include YOUR favourite crime and thriller title then e-mail us its title, location and author at map@bitterlemonpress.com. You can also tweet the relevant details by using the hashtag #intcrimeficmap.
Or browse the map and explore the numerous settings of some of the best crime and thriller fiction. We've divided all the non-Bitter Lemon Press titles into four categories: Cops & Mavericks, Historical, Psychological and Pure Crime to make it easier to hunt down your favourite sub-genres.
As always, your comments are welcome. If you have any suggestions for the map then please contact us at map@bitterlemonpress.com. Remember, this is YOUR map. Enjoy.
TECHNICAL NOTE: Unfortunately, the map fails to load properly if you use version 8 of the Firefox browser. We are looking into the problem and hope to have a solution soon.
